At 8 PM PST...a 1027 mb high was 600 nm W of Point Conception and a 1033 mb high was over northern Nevada with a weak 1016 mb trough along the Southern California coast. High pressure inland and offshore will hold the trough over the coastal waters for the next few days keeping winds light.
