Started out @ 70 degrees F @ 4:00 a.m. this morning. Walked the dogs and it was still dry outside. By 4:30 it was downpouring. The road in front of the house was 1/2 covered in H2O. We are making up some much needed precip. It appears that the predictions for a wetter few months beginning with fall is right on track so far. We'll wait & see as the holidays approach.

Started out with a misty morning with temperatures in the upper 50's. Now cloud cover is breaking up and temps in the mid 60's. So glad the 92 we had again yesterday is now gone.Akuna Matata.

93 degrees F yesterday on the way home. Humidity through the roof all day long. A little precip. last night this morning in the 60's again with light drizzle. Saturday promising to be beautiful. High's in the 70's & low's in the 50's. That's about perfect in my opinion.

The Loblolly's however are devestated. The pine beetles and the drought have beseiged all but a few of the beautiful trees we once had. We must have about 70 trees now that need to come down. The lost pines took quite a hit. The forest will take care of itself. However the time of th...
