Well, look at you! A travelin' man. I had no idea you were headed out that direction. If you go again and have time, take that big bridge over to Sausalito, to the Lighthouse Cafe that's right on the main drag. They have the world's best pancakes - strawberry or blueberry, big as a hubcap and smothered in crushed fresh fruit. The places is run by a couple of Danes, and those folks know pancakes ;-)

Glad you went and came back safely. And good night!

Yep - saw that little tornado warning there. Guess I spoke too soon. Left over jet lag for me. Well, best of luck out there. I mean it this time. Good night!

Hey there Mr. Beell. Yep, that's a pretty big bridge. First time I've seen it live and in person.

No twisters tonight most likely. That's good, because like you said - it's dark.

Very sleepy. So good night!

Too dark for VORTEX2 to play. Nothing to see anyway! Looks like the cap won the day.

That bridge looks familiar.

CONCERNING...SEVERE POTENTIAL...WATCH UNLIKELY

VALID 061735Z - 061900Z

THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE THIS AFTERNOON WITH GUSTY
WINDS AND MARGINALLY SEVERE HAIL POSSIBLE. A WW IS NOT EXPECTED AT
THIS TIME.

THUNDERSTORMS CURRENTLY OVER CNTRL FL HAVE BEGUN TO INCREASE IN
INTENSITY THE LAST HOUR ALONG A STATIONARY BOUNDARY FROM NEAR SPG TO
DAB. 17Z SFC ANALYSIS INDICATED THE SEA BREEZE CIRCULATION WAS
BEGINNING TO SET UP AND THIS SHOULD FURTHER FOCUS THUNDERSTORM
DEVELOPMENT INTO SRN FL. GIVEN STEEP LAPSE RATES AND SFC BASED CAPE
VALUES APPROACHING 2500-3000 J/KG
EXPECT AT LEAST SMALL HAIL WITH
SOME ISOLATED MARGINALLY SEVERE HAIL WITH STRONG CELLS. GUSTY WINDS
WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE BUT SHOULD REMAIN BELOW SEVERE LIMITS GIVEN
WEAK DEEP LAYER FLOW.

Hey VTG - thanks for the photo compliment. It was fun being there.

Yep - looks like summer is setting up shop across the southeast. Luckily, I like it warm out there. We are going to be warming up the Gulf very nicely. (Now, if we could figure out a way to vaporize that oil.)

Cool pictures!

It looks like we'll see an extended period of dry/hot weather here, except for some isolated showers this weekend. It seems like it hasn't been a very interesting spring around our area.
