Wow! Fantastic!! Is this with the standard lens that comes with the D90? I did not see the lens info in the exif information. I am considering the D90 or D5000 for my next purchase. Action: \| Ignore User

Thanks so much Betsy for uploading a beautiful rainbow shot, and not only one, but two! Rainbows are very special to our family. They were my mom's favorite, her promise from God throughout her illness. We lost her over 3 years ago but everytime I see a rainbow, I am reminded of her! So thank you so much. I am truly touched by all the comments. If anyone can suggest a better wide angle lens t get the whole thing in one shot I would be interested to know about it. Rainbows are most difficult to join for a panoramic. I have been working on the second image from yesterday off and on today, Action: \| Ignore User

Betsy - I just noticed that you have an AC for another rainbow. OR is the place for rainbows, as I discovered in my short 7 years there - even in the morning, which is unusual in the East. I am somewhat new to photography. I purchased a digital camera in 2003 and the hobby swiftly took hold. My camera gets me out and about and has enhanced all my senses to find what this world has to offer. I am also a quilt artist and I use my photography to help me understand color and form that can transfer into quilt art. I am an active member of Emerald Photographic Society and was honored as most promising photographer in 2007 and photographer of the year in 2008. I have recently had images published in National Geographic and the National Wildlife refuge library. There are three contributors to my success. I carry my camera (s) with me most of the time and I committed to shooting at least 100 images a day. I anticipate everything but expect nothing. Most importatly I have grown to appreciate fellow photographers for insights, tips and all around friendship as much as the hobby itself. I love to see through the eyes of others and WU is a favorite place to visit. I am inspired by the talent found here and have a never ending itch to travel and learn!
